Description: A 30-year-old Milwaukee man and a 32-year-old Oak Creek man were taken to the Milwaukee County Jail for probation violations after an incident at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 4 at Walgreens, 3201 E. Layton Ave. According to police reports the Milwaukee man took two bottles of medicine with a combined value of $20.48, then gave them to the Oak Creek man, who sought a cash refund with a fraudulently obtained receipt from a Walgreens store in West Allis.

Description: A South Milwaukee woman’s purse was taken from her pickup truck between 10:30 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. Sept. 7 while she played golf at Warnimont golf course, 5400 S. Lake Drive. A rear window was smashed for entry. Purse contents included $700 cash and a debit card, which was used for $1,277 in fraudulent purchases the same day.

Description: A 44-year-old man was arrested for battery-domestic violence at 7:52 p.m. Sept. 6 after allegedly punching his 55-year-old girlfriend and dragging her by the hair in the 3400 block of East Layton Avenue.

Description: A 49-year-old man in the 4900 block of South Packard Avenue was arrested for battery after two incidents involving his 60-year-old girlfriend, the most recent at 3:58 p.m. Sept. 8.

Description: A 37-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for operating while intoxicated at 9:08 a.m. Sept. 11 after his vehicle struck a traffic signal at the northeast corner of South Packard and East College avenues. A breath test indicated a preliminary BAC of 0.12.

Description: A 24-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct at 5:28 p.m. Sept. 2 after he was heard cursing loudly on his cellphone in the 4600 block of South Packard Avenue. The man claimed he has ADHD, bipolar and anger issues.

Description: A 57-year-old Racine man was arrested Sept. 8 at a highway rest area in Madison County, Illinois, in connection with a robbery at PNC Bank, 3545 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., at 11:06 a.m. Sept. 6. According to police reports the man took $888 after handing the teller a note implying he had a gun. Police reported interviewing the man Sept. 9 at the Madison County Jail in Edwardsville, Illinois, where he told them he committed the robbery to get heroin, and bought $300 worth afterwards in Milwaukee.

Description: A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for operating while intoxicated at 10 p.m. Sept. 6 in the 1700 block of Minnesota Avenue. A breath test indicated a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.20. Police came to the scene responding to a report of a large fight outside Brew Town, 1902 17th Ave., but the 20 to 30 people there dispersed after officers arrived.

She believed that her ex was monitoring her every move using different proxy servers all over the world. Police said her story was hard to follow and was told to get a restraining order, but she wanted to find other alternatives and take her case “to the FBI.”

Police recovered egg cartons around 2 a.m. in the 1000 block of White Rock Avenue, the 1100 block of East Moreland Blvd. and at the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and North Barstow Street.

Description: A caller said his ex-girlfriend shut the door in his face while he was having an asthma attack at her apartment at 1910 S. Grand Ave. at 8:27 p.m. Sept. 8. He was there to move things. The man tried to kick the door down so he could get his inhaler, which was inside the apartment, but the woman didn’t believe that he was having an attack.

Description: Police were called to a residence after a caller thought a person might be hanging from a tree in front of a house at 1122 Perkins Ave. at 9:49 a.m. Sept. 9. The caller believed it was a Halloween decoration but couldn’t be sure. Police found that it was in fact a mannequin Halloween decoration in the tree.

Description: A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for recklessly endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, criminal damage to property and possession of a security removable device at Burlington, 9040 N. Green Bay Road, at 7:45 p.m., Aug. 26. The man removed the security tag on the monitor, causing damage and, when confronted by security, threatened them with a knife.

Description: A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, possession of stolen property, resisting arrest and, along with three boys, ages and residences not released, for conspiracy to commit auto theft at West Bradley Road and North Sherman Boulevard at 4:30 p.m., Aug. 31. The boys were also arrested for being passengers in a stolen vehicle and one for theft and two for party to that crime. A witness had alerted police to a group of males attempting to steal cars.

Jean Nicolet Road, about 7:30 a.m., Sept. 3. The girl at first denied having any marijuana but then pulled it out of her notebook. She had a lighter and both had a pipe with residue. The boy also had a 4-inch knife and a water bottle holding 8 ounces of vodka in his backpack. The girl said she brought the marijuana to school for a friend but wouldn’t say who.

The man, who said he had one beer two hours before, failed field sobriety tests and had a preliminary BAC of 0.20. When asked to take the final breath test he refused saying, “I ain’t giving you (expletive). You can (expletive) my (expletive).”
