Description: An undisclosed amount of money was stolen out of a student’s wallet at Greendale High School, 6801 Southway, during two incidents on Oct. 10 and Oct. 17. During both incidents, the wallet was in a backpack that was left in a locker room between 8:50 and 9:30 a.m.

Description: A woman reported her purse was stolen while she was shopping at The Children’s Place, 5300 S. 76th St., at 4:10 p.m. Oct. 17. The unidentified suspect(s) used the victim’s credit card to make fraudulent purchases at two Greendale businesses.

Description: A woman was cited for inhaling a harmful substance when police found several cans of dust cleaner in her car after she struck another vehicle in the drive-thru at Chick Fil A, 5351 S. 76th St., at about 2:05 p.m. Oct. 23. The suspect admitted huffing the cleaner prior to the accident but passed field sobriety tests.

Description: A motorcycle was spray-painted while it was parked at Greendale High School, 6801 Southway, sometime during the afternoon hours of Oct. 22.

Description: A man was arrested for drugged driving after a caller reported seeing his jeep drive into a ditch in the 6000 block of West Loomis Road at about 9 p.m. Oct. 22. The suspect managed to drive the jeep out of the ditch but was then seen swerving while continuing to drive northeast on Loomis Road. Police located the vehicle and took the driver into custody.

Description: Police responding to a fight in progress at Greendale High School, 6801 Southway, arrested one juvenile male for disorderly conduct at about noon Oct. 23.

Description: Police are seeking a man who stole a female employee’s cell phone at Vision Mart, 8770 S. Howell Ave., at about 5:20 p.m. Oct. 21. The suspect came in to have his glasses adjusted, and when the victim turned around to work on the glasses the suspect stole her cell phone and ran out the door. Police have identified the suspect and are attempting to locate him.

Description: Someone stole a Stihl gas backpack leaf blower, valued at $589, out of an open garage in the 8200 block of South Willow Court between 3 and 5 p.m. Oct. 25.

Description: A woman was arrested for theft after video surveillance revealed she stole multiple rolls of toilet paper from the bathrooms at Woodman’s, 8131 S. Howell Ave., on two separate occasions Oct. 21. On both occasions the suspect entered the bathroom with nothing in her hands and exited the bathroom with a grocery bag full of toilet paper rolls. The suspect told police she needed the toilet paper to clean up a mess her child made inside her vehicle. Total loss to the store is estimated at $10.

Description: A guest reported someone stole her $2,000 MacBook Air laptop computer and her $700 Apple iPhone 5C out of her room after she left her room to eat breakfast at Comfort Suites, 6362 S. 13th St., between 9:10 and 9:25 a.m. Oct. 22. Officers discovered her door did not close all the way or lock after she left for breakfast. Officers traced her phone to 19th Place and Capitol Drive but did not locate the stolen phone.

Description: An employee at Applied Plastics, 7320 S. Sixth St., reported that someone stole about $24,000 worth of brass sizers at about 2:10 p.m. Oct. 22. The caller stated that the sizers, which were kept in an open area, were stolen sometime during the past six to eight weeks.

Description: One woman was arrested for shoplifting and possession of alcohol by an underage adult, and another woman was arrested for shoplifting after they were seen concealing a $17 bottle of vodka at Piggly Wiggly, 2201 E. Rawson Ave., at about 3:15 p.m. Oct. 22. One of the women was also arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after she admitted having a needle that she used for heroin inside her purse, and one of the women was taken into custody after police discovered she had six warrants through the Waukesha and Milwaukee sheriff departments and the Greendale Police Department.

Description: Someone stole an employee’s iPhone 4S, valued at $400, from an employee-only area at Oak Creek Urgent Care, 8201 S. Howell Ave., between 4 p.m. and 4:10 p.m. Oct. 22.

Description: An unknown male stole a $400 iPhone 5S in a $20 plastic case out of an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot at Woodman’s, 8131 S. Howell Ave., at about 8:45 p.m. Oct. 25. The theft, which was captured on surveillance video, shows a white male with a brown, bowl-style haircut between the ages of 16 and 19 entering the vehicle and taking the phone. The suspect, who left the lot on a BMX-style bike, also used a Quest card to make a purchase before leaving the area.

Description: A man was arrested for first-degree sexual assault of a child younger than 13 and disorderly conduct after he became intoxicated, started yelling and swearing at employees, and purposely grabbed a 12-year-old girl on the buttocks in the lobby area at South Shore Cinema, 7261 S. 13th St., at about 9:15 p.m. Oct. 24. The man also threatened to harm the responding officers during the investigation and was uncooperative with police and was transported to the county jail facility.

Description: A 17-year-old girl was punched in the face by a male while she was walking though Miller Park, 315 E. Groveland Drive, at about 3:10 p.m. Oct. 27. The victim and two witnesses gave police the name of the suspect.

Description: A man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia when police found uncapped syringes, cooking caps and a rubber strap/tourniquet in plain view inside his vehicle after a motorist called to report a possible drunken driver in the 1500 block of East Highway 100 at about 12:10 p.m. Oct. 24. The suspect was also cited for third offense driving with a suspended license.

Description: A man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon (BB gun), and a woman was arrested for possession of Schedule III narcotics (zolpidem and suboxone) after they were both detained and arrested for shoplifting at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at about 1:05 p.m. Oct. 27.

Description: A man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after he was pulled over for an unsafe lane deviation in the 8700 block of South Howell Avenue and admitted drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana before driving at about 3:20 a.m. Oct. 24. He failed field sobriety tests.

Description: A man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for driving with a suspended license possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle in the 1800 block of West Ryan Road at about 12:35 a.m. Oct. 26. A chemical breath test indicated a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.17.

Description: An employee at Unlimited Inc., 7277 S. 10th St., reported someone smashed the back window on his vehicle between 2 and 4:35 p.m. Oct. 22. Damage is estimated at $500.

Description: The Oak Creek Fire Department and police responded to a report that an elevator was stuck, the doors wouldn’t open and a resident was trapped inside at Country View Retirement Home, 10507 S. Chicago Road, at about 4:35 p.m. Oct. 22. While the units were responding, police dispatch received a 911 call reporting that the trapped resident asthma and was panicking. Fire department personnel were able to get the elevator doors open, and the resident was treated at the scene for an asthma attack.

Description: A male student was cited for disorderly conduct after he put hand sanitizer in a female student’s coffee during a class at Oak Creek Middle School, 8401 S. 13th St., causing her to become sick at about 10:15 a.m. Oct. 21.

Description: A man and a woman were arrested for disorderly conduct after they started fighting with employees and other patrons at Branded Steer Restaurant, 1299 W. College Ave., at about 10:50 p.m. Oct. 21. According to employees, the suspects had been drinking since 5 p.m. The two suspects were told to leave the bar after they became loud and argumentative, reached over the bar and dispensed soda on the floor, and started shouting obscenities at each other and the staff. The male suspect also pushed a patron to the ground and struck an employee, injuring his lip, when employees were attempting to hold him for police.

Description: A man was arrested for disorderly conduct and a woman was arrested for prostitution after he had an argument with a female inside a room at Red Roof Inn, 6360 S. 13th St., at about 12:20 p.m. Oct. 22. The male suspect, who was in the parking lot at Branded Steer, told police the argument started because he was upset over the female’s escorting activities at the hotel.

Description: A female employee and a male customer were arrested for disorderly conduct after a physical altercation in the parking lot at Classic Lanes, 7501 S. Howell Ave., at about 12:30 a.m. Oct. 25.

Description: A woman was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon (knife) and loitering after a truck driver called 911 to report she asked him if he “wanted a girl” inside Pilot Travel Center, 2031 W. Ryan Road, and then followed him outside to his truck and started knocking on his door at about 9:30 p.m. Oct. 26. The suspect told police she was dropped off at the business by a friend and was just minding her own business.

Description: A male juvenile was cited for disorderly conduct after he got into a loud argument with other students and then pushed a teacher who was trying to stop him from going after other students at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, at about 1:45 p.m. Oct. 27.

Description: An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen during a burglary at Papa Murphy’s Take & Bake Pizza, 6509 S. 27th St., sometime between 8:15 p.m. Oct. 19 and 9 a.m. Oct. 20. The unidentified suspects entered the building by prying the metal security plate off the back door, and once inside the building, the suspect(s) pried open two cash register drawers and a safe. According to the police report, the security cameras had been moved upward, but the surveillance system was not operating at the time of the incident.

Description: An unidentified person(s) broke into the Irish Cottage, 11433 W. Ryan Road, and stole an ATM containing $1,820 in cash sometime between midnight and 7:20 a.m. Oct. 22. The suspect(s) gained entry by forcing open a basement window, which also caused damage to a water line just inside the window.

Description: Several pieces of jewelry, tools and cash were stolen from a residence in the 7900 block of South Patricia Court while the resident was on vacation between Oct. 22 and Oct. 26. It was later discovered the unidentified suspect(s) stole some credit cards and used them to make several fraudulent purchases.

Description: About 83,000 gallons of water, valued at $3,000, have been stolen from an outside water spigot at Walgreens, 9527 S. 27th St. The employee stated the Franklin Water Dept is checking their output of water due to the large amounts of water being used.

Description: A 26-year-old female employee was arrested for stealing over $528 in cash from Topper’s Pizza, 2842 W. Rawson Ave., at about 5 p.m. Oct. 20. The theft occurred between Sept. 20 and Oct. 20.

Description: A 19-year-old man was arrested for stealing a wallet containing a driver’s license, school ID and debit card out of an unlocked car parked in the 6400 block of South 35th Street sometime between the late evening hours of Oct. 19 and the early morning hours of Oct. 20. The unidentified suspect(s) used the debit card to make a fraudulent purchase at the Franklin Walmart at about 3:15 a.m., and he was arrested at about 3:10 p.m. Oct. 26.

Description: A resident in the 6400 block of South 35th Street reported she was scammed out of $1,200 by an unknown subject over the telephone at about 12:20 p.m. Oct. 20. The suspect told the victim he was a DEA agent in New York, and he convinced her to buy four Green Cards to pay a fine she owed for trying to obtain Vicodin online from a company outside the U.S. She was advised to change both her phone numbers and not to deal with anyone by telephone anymore.

Description: An unidentified male and female driving a Chevy van left without paying for $6 worth of gas at Kwik Trip, 10750 W. Speedway Drive, at about 1:45 p.m. Oct. 21. The same suspects and vehicle are also responsible for stealing $45 in gas Oct. 13. The driver, described as a white male about 28 to 38 years old, folds the license plate over before he stops to steal gas.

Description: A purse was stolen from a woman while she was shopping at Goodwill Industries, 6941 S. Riverwood Boulevard, sometime between noon and 2:45 p.m. Oct. 21.

Description: About 42 batteries were stolen out of a locked battery cage behind Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at about 5 a.m. Oct. 22. Surveillance video showed a red, full-sized pickup truck behind the store by the cage, where the suspect forced entry. The vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound from the store.

Description: A 25-year-old man was arrested for stealing a Kindle from the El Rancho Motel, 8973 S. 27th St., at about 1:05 p.m. Oct. 23. He was taken into custody at the Villa Vista Motel, 8060 S. 27th St., at about 1:40 p.m.

Description: A blue and gray duffel bag containing a Toshiba laptop computer, clothing and some personal documents was stolen after the owner placed it under an evergreen tree outside Walgreens, 9909 W. Loomis Road, sometime between 2:35 and 2:45 p.m. Oct. 25. The victim stated he did not want to take the bag into the store and placed it under the tree for a few minutes, and when he returned the bag was gone.

Description: A 30-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for stealing $50 worth of gas and possession of drug paraphernalia and a 27-year-old Elkhorn man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at Kwik Trip, 10750 W. Speedway Drive, at about 12:25 p.m. Oct. 26.

Description: A 19-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for possession of narcotics (Adderall) and possession of marijuana in the 3100 block of West Yorkshire Circle at about 9:50 a.m. Oct. 26.

Description: A 45-year-old New York man was arrested for drunken driving after a motorist reported seeing a Mercedes-Benz with Indiana license plates speeding, crossing over the centerline and driving recklessly in the 4300 block of West Ryan Road at about 2:35 a.m. Oct. 25. He refused chemical breath testing and was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.

Description: A male juvenile was cited for unlawful use of an electronic device after he was caught tweeting inappropriate messages on a Twitter account that he had created in the name of another student at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., at about 11 a.m. Oct. 20.

Description: A 44-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct after he threatened an employee and shouted profanities in his face after being asked to leave Salvation Army 6341 S. 27th St., at about 3:35 p.m. Oct. 22. The suspect had been told not to return to the business due to past incidents. He left the area and was seen getting on a Milwaukee County Transit Bus before police arrived, and he was cited by mail.

Description: A 31-year-old Illinois man was arrested after he stole a vehicle that was left running in a driveway in the 11600 block of Parkview Lane, sped away at a high rate of speed and crashed into a tree at about 7:30 a.m. Oct. 23. He was transported to Froedtert Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Felony charges against the suspect are pending a review by the district attorney.

Description: A woman’s purse was stolen out of a locker at Xperience Fitness, 5321 S. 108th St., at about 4:45 p.m. Oct. 24. The stolen purse was later found in a culvert in the city of New Berlin with some prescription medications missing.

Description: Miscellaneous items and money are missing from a residence in the 700 block of Wilson Drive. A male arrived at the home in a white pickup truck around 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 24 and stated that he needed to check her electric box. While the victim and suspect were in the basement, it is believed that a second suspect entered the house and committed the theft.

Description: A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested Oct. 7 for theft of 47 cans of Gerber baby food valued at $891 from Pick ‘n Save, 9200 N. Green Bay Road, from Oct. 1 to Oct. 7. When she came to the store Oct. 7 and again took baby food, she was recognized for the previous thefts and arrested.

Description: Two men, ages and residences not released, were arrested for disorderly conduct at Brown Deer Lanes, 4715 W. Bradley Road, at 11:50 p.m. Oct. 9. The men threw bowling balls, two at a time, down the wrong lanes and when told to stop, they refused and became obnoxious. After police were called, the men left the lanes but were found and arrested.

Description: Nine people, ages and residences not released, were arrested for thefts at Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road, Oct. 14 to 20: a woman for theft of clothing, including underwear, valued at more than $275. She walked around the store putting items into her cart, stopping at least once to rearrange them, met up with her husband and then left the store without paying; a man for theft of $25 of Magic cards, for carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana and a pipe with residue; two women for theft of nail glitter, eye lashes, body wash and jewelry valued at $135; two men for theft of cell phones valued at $299 and one for a warrant; two females for failure to ring up $57 worth of Halloween items in the self-checkout lane; a man for theft of $50 headphones.

Description: A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for forgery and using another person’s ID after attempting to pass a forged check at Bank Mutual, 4801 W. Brown Deer Road, at 1:15 p.m. Oct. 4. An employee reported the man had sweat pouring off his face onto the counter. The bank was alerted to the man regarding a similar incident at the Mequon branch.

Description: A Milwaukee woman, age not released, was arrested Oct. 21 for fraud after writing two worthless checks totaling more than $1,000 at Lands End, 8777 N. Port Washington Road, about 4 p.m. Oct. 19. The woman had come to the store on Oct. 19 with another woman and wrote the checks on an account her bank closed in January after she had overdrafts of more than $1,500. When she returned to the store Oct. 21, an employee recognized her and police were called. When questioned, she denied the checks were worthless saying, “I have a checking account,” adding she wrote the checks because she didn’t have enough money on her debit card. She also had receipts showing she recently wrote other checks on the closed account at an auto repair company and a toy store.

Port Washington Road, at 12:20 p.m. Oct. 19. The women said they didn’t know when checkout was and were given a “hard time.”

She did not tell him to stop, but after a few seconds she pulled away from the man and bolted on the bus away from the man. The woman didn’t want to make a complaint because she told police she is “way too busy” and “it only happened once.”
