The victim stated the theft occurred sometime during the last six months, and also told police she suspects her cleaning people stole the jewelry.

Description: A woman reported she was the victim of a strong armed robbery in the 6300 block of South 35th Street at about 6:15 p.m. July 22. The woman stated she was approached by a male with a black pistol who forced her to the ground and demanded her money, prescription medications and cell phone. The suspect was described as a 5-foot, 10-inch-tall black male weighing about 160 pounds and wearing long black pants, a black long-sleeved hoodie-type shirt and a black hat. The woman was arrested at the scene for having a valid warrant for shoplifting.

Description: A motorist called police to report a possibly intoxicated man carrying a bottle of Gatorade was stumbling in and out of traffic on South 60th Street and West College Avenue at about 7:10 p.m. July 18. Officers spoke to the man, who denied being intoxicated and said he was on his way to a relative’s house. The Greendale K9 unit found a can of compressed air and a receipt for the air from Walgreens concealed behind some bushes. However, police could not positively identify the man as the person who purchased the inhalant, and he was released.

Description: Glendale residents, ages not disclosed, were cited for having a “vicious animal” after their pit bull attacked a shiatsu at North Sidney Place and North Dexter Avenue about 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 5. The pit bull was in a fenced-in yard but had dug under that fence and grabbed the smaller dog’s neck, causing injury. That dog, which was not on a leash, suffered puncture wounds and was treated for those injuries.

The car was equipped with a tracker and during the next two days, the car was traced to Wauwatosa, the 800 block of West Atkinson Avenue, and finally recovered in the 6600 block of North Bluemound Road, Wauwatosa, at 9:30 a.m. Friday. July 18. A 23-year-old Milwaukee man at that location was arrested on a warrant.

The man said he bought the gun three years ago after seeing it for sale on Armslist.com and just applied for a conceal carry permit. The gun came back as stolen from Waukesha in 2009.

Description: A resident reported that a live trap with two baby raccoons inside was taken from the 5200 block of North Hollywood Avenue between 11:30 p.m. July 25 and 8:20 a.m. July 26. Police had responded to a complaint about that trap from a resident at 9:45 p.m. on Friday, July 25, and found that it had been placed by a licensed trapper and there was no basis for the complaint.
