Description: A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving after he was stopped for speeding in the 9600 block of I-43 at 2:08 a.m. Sept. 23. The man was wearing a surgical mask, telling police he just had dental surgery. He smelled of alcohol, had glassy eyes, failed field sobriety tests and denied drinking. His BAC was 0.14.

Description: A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving and refusal to take a breath test after he was seen weaving in traffic at East Brown Deer Road and North Pelham Parkway at 10:50 p.m. Oct. 3. The man, who struggled with police and fluctuated between yelling profanities and crying, was taken into protective custody.

Description: A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for theft from her employer, Credit Union Service Center, 6402 W. Brown Deer Road, at 1:15 p.m. Sept. 4. The woman made 16 unauthorized withdrawals totaling $16,000 between June 13 and Aug. 30.

Description: A Brown Deer man, age not released, was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm in the 5600 block of West Brown Deer Road at 12:35 p.m. Sept. 8. The man’s landlord had called police for a welfare check and when no one answered the dooFox r, let them into the apartment where they found a loaded shotgun in a closet. The man had a felony warrant and his probation agent was notified.

Description: Two women, ages and residences not released, were arrested one for theft/party to the crime of theft and the other for robbery with the use of force and seven warrants — five for retail theft, one for contempt of court and one for battery — at TJ Maxx, 9020 N. Green Bay Road, at 1 p.m. Sept. 17. As the women attempted to flee with items valued at $250, they were approached by a loss prevention employee. It was then the second woman punched that employee in the head causing minor injury.

Description: A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for theft of clothing valued at $130 that she put into her purse and then exited Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road, at 3 p.m. Sept. 20.

Description: A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and theft of a Home Security System valued at $299 at Walmart, 6300 W. Brown Deer Road, at 4 p.m. Sept. 21. When arrested, the man was found with a straw with cocaine residue.

Description: A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct after witnesses reported him threatening a resident with a knife in the 8400 block of North Port Washington Road about 3 p.m. Sept. 24. The man denied having a knife and no knife was found. The suspect did admit confronting the resident after finding him sitting on the hood of a friend’s car.

Description: A business owner reported being the victim of a scam in the 8600 block of North Port Washington Road Oct. 1. The owner received a call from “We Energies” saying he owed more than $470 and if he didn’t pay, his electricity would be turned off. He purchased a Green Card MoneyPak and gave the numbers to the caller, who identified himself as Robert Deniro. After giving the number to the caller, he realized it was a scam and called police.

Description: A man was seen taking two Beats headphones, valued at $769, from a display and fleeing Best Buy, 8755 N. Port Washington Road, at 2:20 p.m. Oct. 4. A man matching the same description was involved in the theft of five Beats headphones Sept. 27.

Description: A man was seen loading a shopping cart with toiletries and other items valued at more than $360 and fleeing Walgreens, 8615 N. Port Washington Road, at 10:15 a.m. Oct. 4. When he was confronted by an employee, he dropped the bags and fled in a car. Two women were arrested for a similar crime at the store Sept. 26.

Description: A 44-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft of three boxes of perfume valued at $156 from Kohl’s, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 23. The woman entered a fitting room with the boxes in a shopping cart and then left the room with an empty cart.

Description: A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft of $1,700 from her employer, Concours Motors, 1400 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 1:45 p.m. Sept. 24. The woman admitted taking money from a safe in July, twice in August and once in September. She said she needed the money to pay bills.

Description: A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft of $240 from his employer Dr. Dawg, 6969 N. Port Washington Road, at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 24. The man was identified after money was reported missing from the cash register and surveillance video revealed him taking the money.

Description: A 32-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft of an X-Box game system valued at $422 at Kohl’s, 5640 N. Bayshore Drive, at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 24. The man fled from the store but was stopped a few blocks away.

Description: A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after he was stopped for an obscured license plate in the 5500 block of North Argyle Avenue at 1 a.m. Sept. 25. The man admitted drinking a half-pint of peach liquor every day to avoid having seizures caused by alcohol withdrawal. His BAC was 0.18.

Description: A 20-year-old Waukesha man was arrested for theft of a Beats Pill speaker valued at $200 from US Cellular, 575 W. Northshore Drive, about noon Sept. 25.

Description: An iPhone and iPad valued at more than $1,200 were taken from US Cellular, 6969 N. Port Washington Road, about 5:20 p.m. Sept. 25. Two men ages 18 to 20 were seen taking the items from a display and fleeing the store.

Description: Two Milwaukee females, 17 and 27, were arrested for theft of jewelry valued at more than $460 at Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Avenue, at 6 p.m. Sept. 29. The women working separately took assorted jewelry from a display and then went to the service desk and returned the stolen items, each receiving a store credit, one for $318 and one $150.

Description: A 32-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and refusal to take a breath test after a report of an erratic driver in the 2700 block of West Good Hope Road at 2:05 a.m. Oct. 3.

Description: A 28-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, refusal to take a breath test, failure to stop for a red light and expired registration in the 3900 block of North Oakland Avenue at 1:35 a.m. Sept. 26. He failed field sobriety tests and after a warrant was issued, he was taken for a blood draw.

Description: A wallet was taken from a purse left on a counter at Chiropractic Company, 3510 N. Oakland Avenue, before 4:30 p.m. Sept. 27. Before the theft was discovered, credit cards were used numerous times at various stores, including Walgreen’s, Speedway and Walmart in Milwaukee and Brown Deer.

Description: A 15-year-old boy, residence not released, was arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana after a report of him and other boys smoking in a garage behind the 3900 block of North Morris Boulevard at 7 p.m. Sept. 27. The boys were stopped as they walked in the 1600 block of East Capitol Drive.

Description: A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 4400 block of North Wildwood Avenue at 11:15 a.m. Sept. 29. Residents called police after the woman knocked on their door asking for money. A trace amount of marijuana was found in the woman’s purse.

Description: An orange Rx bottle with four baggies of marijuana weighing 3 grams was found in a hallway at Shorewood High School, 1701 E. Capitol Drive, at 11 a.m. Sept. 30.

Description: A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of heroin, driving under the influence of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant in the 4900 block of North Oakland Avenue at 1 a.m. Oct. 2. A syringe was found with heroin residue. The man was taken for a blood draw.

Description: A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of synthetic marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant after a report of him walking back and forth almost falling over on the Oak Leaf Bike Trail near the 4800 block of North Wilson Drive at noon Oct. 3. The man had a pipe and pill container with residue.

Description: A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver after the car he was in was stopped for no headlights in the 300 block of East Hampton Road at 3:15 a.m. Oct. 5. The man had numerous baggies with a total of 23.5 grams of marijuana. The driver, a female age and residence not released, was arrested for driving under the influence and was taken for a blood draw.

Description: A man, who was recently arrested, was linked to another home burglary in the San Camillo apartments, 10200 W. Bluemound Road, between December 2013 and September 2014. The man is accused of habitually stealing jewelry.

Description: A woman was the victim of a “strong arm” robbery that occurred in the Kmart parking lot, 3201 N. Mayfair Road, at 10:18 a.m. Oct. 1. The male suspect drove next to the woman as she walked through the lot, and ripped her purse off her shoulder. He then fled in a gold colored, late ’90s Toyota Camry car.

Description: An unidentified male concealed multiple saw blades under his shirt at Menards, 10925 W. Speedway Drive, and then fled the lot in a black, four-door vehicle when approached by security at about 1:40 p.m. Oct. 3. Store security later informed police that the male was arrested for shoplifting at the Menards in West Milwaukee.

Description: A 28-year-old Greenfield man was arrested for fourth-offense drunken driving and third-offense operating after revocation after he was pulled over for making an illegal U-turn in a construction area in the 7900 block of South 27th Street at about 2:20 a.m. Oct. 3.

Description: A 46-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving on West Loomis Road and Champions Drive at about 11:55 p.m. Oct. 4. A chemical breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.24.

Description: A 19-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving and was cited for operating a vehicle without an adequate muffler in the 9300 block of South Sherwood Court at about 2:20 a.m. Oct. 6. A chemical breath test indicated a BAC of 0.08. A 21-year-old female passenger in his vehicle was also cited for possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle.

Description: An officer investigating a suspicious, occupied vehicle in a parking lot at Scout Lake Park, 6001 W. Loomis Road, arrested a woman for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at about 11:10 p.m. Sept. 26.

Description: A woman was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after the vehicle she was riding in was pulled over for a traffic violation on South 76th Street and West Grange Avenue at about 9:45 p.m. Sept. 29.
4300 block of West Ramsey Avenue

Description: A man was arrested for drunken driving after an anonymous caller reported seeing him make an extremely wide turn and drive on a grassy area in the 4300 block of West Ramsey Avenue at about 2:10 p.m. Sept. 26. Police found the suspect vehicle parked in a nearby parking lot with the driver passed out behind the steering wheel. A chemical breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.26. He was also cited for operating without a driver’s license.

Description: A woman was arrested for fourth-offense drunken driving, failure to install an Ignition Interlock Device and was cited for a defected taillight on Broad Street and Schoolway at about 2 a.m. Sept. 27. A chemical breath test indicated a BAC of 0.14. An adult male passenger in her vehicle was also arrested for possession of marijuana.
West College Avenue and South 60th Street

Description: A man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for no proof of insurance after he was pulled over for driving 92 miles per hour in a 30-mph zone on West College Avenue and South 60th Street at about 2:45 a.m. Sept. 28. He was also arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting after he refused to obey commands and physically resisted arrest, and an officer had to deploy a Taser in order to take him into custody. A chemical breath test indicated a BAC of 0.21.

Description: A 20-year-old Milwaukee man and a 23-year-old West Allis man were arrested for employee theft at Fast Track, 5400 S. 108th St., at about 4 p.m. Sept. 30, for using equipment and material from the business to service customers over the past several months and then pocketing the customer’s payments.

Description: Three red chairs, a log splitter, a grill top and a grill grate was taken from a locked garage in the 2200 block of West Rawson Avenue between 12:30 and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 30. A window was broken and a lock was damaged.

Description: Change totaling $80, a $1,000 Dell laptop computer, a $1,300 52-inch LCD flat screen TV, a $2,000 Movado watch, three sterling silver $1 coins, three boxes of currency proofs valued at $100 each, and a wooden jewelry box containing gold cufflinks and watches valued at $4,800 were stolen from a residence in the 3200 block of East Elm Road between 5:10 and 8:25 p.m. Sept. 30

Description: Five 20-foot section pieces of aluminum and 12 eight-foot pieces of aluminum legs, valued at $3,300, were stolen from a secured, fenced-in area at Arena Americas, 7000 S. 10th St., between 6:15 p.m. Sept. 30 and 1 a.m. Oct. 1. The incident was captured on video surveillance.

Description: An unidentified man stole $122 out of the cash drawer and a female employee’s wallet containing $2,065 at LaQuinta, 7141 S. 13th St., at about 3 a.m. Oct. 3. The employee told police the suspect asked her for electrical tape, and when she went to the maintenance room to get some he jumped the counter. The suspect is described as white, age 30, 5 feet 6 inches tall, about 160 pounds, with a goatee and eyeglasses. He was wearing a dark winter watch cap that had lighter rings around the top, a gray hooded sweatshirt with black on the inside, blue jeans and dark Chuck Taylor shoes. The incident was captured on video surveillance.

Description: A $600 LG G3 smartphone, a $250 silver Google Chromebook in a black leather case, a $99 Samsung portable mini Bluetooth speaker, and a $40 TYLT Band flat ribbon car charger were stolen from a vehicle in the 1900 block of West Timber Ridge Lane between 10 p.m. Oct. 2 and 4:25 a.m. Oct. 3.

Description: A woman’s ex-boyfriend had a gun at 114 Frame Ave. at 6:54 a.m. Oct. 2. The gun was in a backpack and never displayed, but he is a felony offender who is barred from possessing firearms. The man, who reportedly pushed the woman, left the house.

Description: School officials reported at about 8:35 a.m. Oct. 2 that a 10-year-old Whittier Elementary School student brought a .22-caliber bullet and two empty shell casings to school at 1103 S. East Ave. He did not have a weapon. The boy has been suspended from school and was turned over to his mother.

Description: A box lift gate truck was stolen from Cook Auto Supply, 3590 N. 126th St., sometime between Sept. 26 and Sept. 29. The suspects also removed four batteries from other trucks parked in the rear of the business before breaking a window on the box lift gate truck, installing two batteries, and stealing it.

The subject, caught on video, entered the store, asked to see an iPad, distracted the clerk, and left. He attempted to do the same thing around 9:40 p.m. on Sept. 27. The subject was unsuccessful, but was not apprehended.

Description: Six credit cards were taken from a locked vehicle parked at Elite Sports Clubs, 13825 W. Burleigh Road, sometime around 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 30. While cancelling the cards, the complainant noticed that one card already had over $5,000 in fraudulent charges on it. Though the vehicle was locked, there were no signs of forced entry.
