Description: A manager at Creekside Manor, 8841 S. 13th St., reported at about 11:35 a.m. July 11 that an employee was seen stealing items out of two other employee’s purses and the incidents were captured on security video. Police were seeking her for questioning at the time of the report.

The caller stated her daughter lost her iPod at the store about one month ago, and it was located and placed into a locked drawer by an employee. Description: A man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for operating after suspension and drinking open intoxicants in a vehicle after he was pulled over for speeding in the 6700 block of South 13th Street at 2:35 a.m. July 11. He was also arrested for possession of cocaine. He refused chemical breath testing and was transported to jail.

Description: A man was arrested for third-offense drunken driving after he was pulled over for traveling 55 mph in a 45-mph zone in the 1000 block of East Puetz Road at about 2:40 a.m. July 12. A breath test indicated a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.14.

Description: A man was arrested for third-offense drunken driving after he was pulled over for swerving out of his lane in the 1800 block of West College Avenue at about 1:10 a.m. July 13. A breath test indicated a preliminary BAC of 0.15.

Description: A street light in the 6600 block of South Crane Drive was shot out with a BB gun prior to 2:50 p.m. July 10. Damage to the lens and bulb is estimated at $60.

Description: A driver flagged down a police officer in the 10100 block of South Howell Avenue at about 8:55 a.m. July 8. When the officer asked the motorist what she needed, she stated she flagged him down because she knew she was speeding and not wearing a seatbelt. She told the officer she would not speed anymore and fastened her seatbelt. No citations were issued.

Description: A caller reported some baby chickens were running around in the front yard at Lake Shore Medical Clinic, 331 E. Puetz Road, at about 3:30 p.m. July 8. The responding officer found four young chickens, which appeared to have been left in a box nearby, took them to the kennel at the police station and then turned them over to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Center.
900 block of East Rawson Avenue

Description: An anonymous caller reported chickens were in the middle of the roadway in the 900 block of East Rawson Avenue at about 7:25 p.m. July 11. The responding officer found several chickens close the roadway and discovered they belonged to a resident in the area. The resident put all the chickens back into their pen and was advised about municipal laws.

Description: A male was cited for unnecessary acceleration/display of power after an officer saw him do a 20- to 25-yard burnout while leaving the lower lot at Bender Park, 4503 E. Ryan Road, at about 5:45 p.m. July 12.

Description: A woman was cited for disorderly conduct after she threatened and harassed her neighbors in the 8900 block of South Wood Creek Drive prior to 7:45 p.m. July 12. The woman was apparently angered about a work order issued by a man, a neighbor who works at the apartment building. The woman continued to scream at officers when they arrived, refused to go back into her residence with her children and had to be placed in restraints and physically taken back into her apartment.

Description: A woman reported that her upstairs neighbor stole her wind chimes at Booth Manor, 180 W. Centennial Drive, at about 7:45 p.m. July 14. An officer spoke to the female suspect who stated she took the wind chime down because it was causing her dog to bark, and that she was going to turn the wind chime in to management the next day. The officer warned the suspect about taking another person’s property. Both women were also advised to stay away from each other.

Description: Police responding to a report that four or five “guys” were fighting outside a ranch-style home in the 8500 block of West Willow Pointe Parkway at about 11 p.m. July 11 arrested a 20-year-old Franklin man and a 19-year-old Franklin woman for disorderly conduct/substantial battery at about 5:45 p.m. July 12.

Description: A 29-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of marijuana after the car she was riding in was pulled over in the 2600 block of West Rawson Avenue at about 1 a.m. July 13. The driver of the vehicle was cited for operating after suspension, possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle and making an improper left turn and was also taken into custody for having a valid warrant through the Greenfield Police Department for operating after revocation.

Description: A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 20-year-old Milwaukee man were arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on South 27th Street and West Rawson Avenue at about 3:05 a.m. July 13.

Description: A 31-year-old Union Grove man was arrested for drunken driving (second offense) and operating after revocation on South 124th Street and West Loomis Road at about 8:45 a.m. July 9.

Description: A 43-year-old man was transported to Froedtert Hospital after he fell through the roof while assisting his construction crew at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., at about 9:30 a.m. July 11. The victim, a foreman from Red Cedar Steel Erectors, was laying roof channels and went to assist some crew members who were struggling with a channel when he fell through the roof where a cut had been made but not finished due to the saw breaking down.

Description: An 18-year-old Green Bay woman and three juvenile males were arrested for vandalism and underage drinking/possession of alcohol and a 22-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for vandalism after they were seen taking solar lights from a lawn and smashing them in the roadway in the 6700 block of South 35th Street at about 12:30 a.m. July 11. The 22-year-old Milwaukee woman was also taken into custody for having a warrant through the Green Bay Police Department for underage drinking.

Description: A 31-year-old Franklin man was cited for trespassing after he was seen eating out of the garbage containers outside the front door at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at about 12:20 p.m. July 7. The man had been warned about trespassing after previous incidents at Walmart.

Description: A 33-year-old man who called police to report a man called him a “pervert” and pulled a gun on him was arrested for prowling after police discovered he (the caller) was seen looking into resident’s windows in the 10500 block of West Cortez Circle at about 10 p.m. July 13.

Description: A Volkswagen Golf was stolen from a driveway in the 10500 block of West Ridge Road sometime between 11:30 p.m. July 9 and 1:30 p.m. July 10. The vehicle was recovered in a business parking lot in Franklin at about 1:30 a.m. July 11, where a possible suspect was seen running away from the vehicle. Police were unable to locate the suspect.

Description: A 25-year-old Racine woman was arrested for drunken driving after she was pulled over for multiple traffic violations on West Forest Home Avenue and Allenwood Lane at about 2 a.m. July 13. A chemical breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.15.

Description: A Milwaukee man was arrested for drugged driving; cited for deviating from a designated lane, suspended registration and possession of drug paraphernalia; and was referred to the district attorney’s office for possession of synthetic marijuana during a traffic stop on West College Avenue and Root River Drive at about 4:35 p.m. July 6.

Description: An intoxicated man said he was “jumped” and had $450 stolen from his wallet when he was trying to buy marijuana in a basement at 1917 Madera St. at 6:30 p.m. July 4. The man said he met a Hispanic man the day before selling paintbrushes in an alley, and the man told him he also sells marijuana. When he went to the supposed dealer’s basement, he was beat up by the man and two other men that resulted in a black eye and large gash on his right cheek. The man struggled to stay consistent with his story when questioned by police, according to their report.
